Privacy Requests

How to ask Software Scout about access, correction, deletion, or other privacy rights.

If you are in the European Union or European Economic Area, you can ask us about personal data we may hold about you. We also welcome privacy requests from visitors elsewhere. The rights available in a particular case depend on the data and applicable law.

What you can ask for

  • Access to personal data we hold about you and information about its use.
  • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
  • Deletion or restriction of processing where applicable.
  • Objection to certain processing, or withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent.
  • A portable copy of data where the right to portability applies.

How to send a request

Email ivansodre51@gmail.com with the subject “Privacy rights request.” Describe what you want us to do and include the email address you used to contact us, if relevant.

Do not send a passport, national ID, payment details, or other sensitive documents with your initial request. If we reasonably need to confirm your identity before disclosing or changing data, we will ask only for information appropriate to that request.

What happens next

We will review the request and respond without undue delay, normally within one month of receipt. If a request is complex or we receive many requests, the law may allow more time; we will explain any extension within the initial period. Requests are generally free. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain why and describe the available complaint options.

We may not have personal data that identifies a visitor who only read public pages. Hosting providers may hold technical logs needed to deliver and protect the site. Our Privacy Policy describes the information currently involved.

Complaints

If you are in the EU or EEA and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to a data protection authority in your country. The European Data Protection Board lists national authorities.
